Music educator Sadie Hoyt will give a listening tour of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, the most beloved classical Christmas work of all time. By journeying through musical highlights from the ballet with guided prompts and handouts, participants will learn about musical structure, terms, and instruments of the orchestra while engaging their imaginations and experiencing music's powerful ability to tell a story. With Listening Activities intended for ages 8-14, Coloring Pages intended for littles, and engaging knowledge for all ages, this workshop can be a holiday activity for the whole family!
